Barth’s Bowls

Ever wished you could own a one-of-a-kind custom made wooden bowl?

Now you can. These bowls are made from specially aged Ohio Cherry trees. The wood used to make the bowls are specially selected to have a unique grain pattern. This is accomplished by making the bowls from a “Y” joint in the wood. This results in a unique grain pattern (see photo above) with grains observed in both directions.

In addition since every “Y” is unique in its shape every bowl is unique. Bowls are turned to maximize volume based on how steep the “Y” pattern is. Some are deeper and some are wider, but all bowls will impress your culinary friends.

Bowls can also be used for decorative purposes and artwork. For an additional fee bowls can be ordered that have a Jade inlay (see photo below) making the bowls even more unique.

Prices for bowl sizes (approximate size given) are listed below. Special serving tongs that are connected at the holding point are also available. These tongs are never separated and are designed for ease of use. Tongs are $20 per pair.
